Our next informal Study Circle tele-meeting will be on Wednesday 13 June 11:30 – 13:30  GMT (+BST)

  • All welcome, regardless of experience, commitment and objectives

We will continue to pursue our learning and connecting together according to our varied needs and experience. Participation is currently free It will be a great opportunity to meet fellow explorers and share experiences and stories.

The meeting will be by dial-in telephone conference, combined with some optional online tools, and will be facilitated by Francois, supported by Sue and Martin.  To receive dial-in instructions, it is essential to reserve your place by emailing suebell@LIFEjourneys.co.uk, so that we can send you the connection details.

This time, while still spending a bit of time at the end to review our pathways forward, we will share experiences while focussing on a specific theme:

Theme for the dayCONSENT  (consent-based decision-making)

The purpose of the tele-conference will be to meet fellow explorers, while sharing experiences and stories about the area of team decision-making, and exploring the specific theme of consent.

  • We will first share our experiences of different forms of group, team or organisational decision-making and try to review merits and drawbacks of different styles.

  • Then we shall explore specifically one of the four principles of sociocracy: consent-based decision-making, what is it, how it works, how it is or isn’t different from other styles.

  • Finally we shall spend just a little time continuing to review our diversity of possible pathways forward for the study circle, with a view of meeting various needs & budgets.

Please remember to let Sue know if you want to participate (for those who took part in the 1st or 2nd session, you should already have received instructions from me).

Looking forward to talking to you on Wednesday.

Best regards,  Francois
