Launching Sociocracy Moray

The first iteration of

SociocracyMoray.net

will launch on

Wednesday 22nd January 2014 at 7pm UTC (UK time / GMT)

We’d like you to join us at that time for 15 minutes to celebrate and spread the word.

https://zoom.us/j/398751143

The idea

That anyone engaged with sociocracy (or participatory democracy) and promoting its use around the world, join together for 15 minutes, to connect with each other in the Zoom video meeting and through our networks and to share the SociocracyMoray.net website with our online communities.

At 7:10pm UTC we all simultaneously spread the word of SociocracyMoray.net through our social media networks.

The outcome is to

  • Have fun!
  • Connect with people in the sociocracy network
  • Celebrate that there’s another bright light shining for sociocracy
  • Inform people in Scotland that information and introductory training on sociocracy is available to them.
  • Spread the word about sociocracy in general - that there’s another way to govern and make decisions - that’s transparent, equivalent and effective.

In preparation for the celebration, open SociocracyMoray.net Website Launch Activities and:

1) Add your name and social network(s) you use for sharing sociocracy related events, information and ideas. See who else has added social network information and connect with them if you want. You can also do this on the day, however it may be more graceful if you do it now.

2) See the other 2 actions we’ll take at the Launch.

3 ) Mark your calendar now - don’t miss the fun! Bring your own champagne or other celebratory goodies :-)

Can’t make it? Just put a note in your calendar to send a tweet or a facebook share at 7:10pm on 22nd January - or the next day if you’re busy. And if you're not a social media person that's fine you can always tell people you are excited about cooperative, collaborative governance.

Please invite anyone you know would like to join us in spreading the word.

cheers

Ariane and Jane
